Chef Tino and Chef Mayra have been business partners for over a decade, starting with fried chicken and tacos that quickly became a hit at pop-ups in Oakland and SF.

Their first location was the kitchen at Fort Green Bar, and they are so excited to back in the old neighborhood with El Barrio. Our focus here is a smaller menu, with mesquite meats cooked over live fire using the traditional recipes from their hometowns in Jalisco and Guerrero.

Located in Jack London, Xingones Cantina offers a larger menu, with our famous fried chicken and waffles.

We also do all catering from our Xingones location.
